The redesign was led by Andrew Alford, Principal of Andrew Alford Creative, who set out to breathe new life into the property while honoring its original spirit. Drawing inspiration from the golden age of the American road trip, the rugged beauty of the Arizona landscape, and Flagstaff’s deep-rooted connection to the stars, Alford crafted a vision that celebrates both nostalgia and discovery.

From the earliest concept sketches to the final build-out, Andrew Alford Creative was involved at every stage — collaborating closely with the architect, owner, and designer to shape a destination that captures the essence of the region and invites travelers to experience it in a fresh, unforgettable way.
